Purification scheme of tailings treatment

According to the different beneficiation methods, the main difference is the properties of tailings. There are different methods for tailings treatment. At present, the comprehensive utilization of tailings resources at home and abroad can be summarized as the following ways:

1. First of all, we should try our best to do a good job in the comprehensive recovery and utilization of useful components of tailings resources, adopt advanced technology and reasonable process to reselect tailings, and maximize the recovery of useful components in tailings, so as to further reduce the number of tailings. Some concentrators are developing in the direction of no tailings.

2. Tailings are used as filling materials for underground mining goaf, that is, water sand filling or cemented filling aggregate. Tailings are used as filling materials in goaf, and the most ideal filling technology is all tailings filling technology, but it is still in the experimental research stage. In production, the coarse part of tailings is used as the filling material of goaf. After the tailings are discharged from the concentrator, they are sent to the tailing preparation section for classification. The coarse sand is sent to the underground goaf, while the fine sand is sent to the tailing pond for storage. This tailings treatment method has been applied at home and abroad.

3, tailings are used as raw materials for building materials: making cement, silicate tailings bricks, tiles, aerated concrete, cast stone, refractory materials, glass, ceramsite, concrete aggregate, glass ceramics, slag brick, foam glass and foam materials.

4. Using tailings to build roads, pavement materials, antiskid materials, coastal farmland, etc.

5. The tailings dump is covered with soil for farmland, planting crops or afforestation.

6. It is the most widely used tailings treatment method in most Concentrators to store tailings in specially built tailings pond.
