1. Before starting, check whether the indicated oil level is at the upper limit of oil standard. In turn, all switches will be powered on and the excitation circuit will be activated. Check whether the fan flows outward and whether the flowmeter indication is correct. Otherwise, the wiring of special pump for fan should be adjusted.

2. If the iron removal effect is not good, properly adjust the lifting height or the distance between the iron remover and the head roll.

3. Always observe whether the readings of voltmeter and ammeter are normal and shall not exceed their rated values.

4. Check the electrical insulation performance of the coil and motor, and conduct the power on test run only after meeting the requirements.

5. Before the operation of the iron remover, use a megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance from the winding to the magnet shell, and check whether the wiring of the excitation winding is correct and reliable.
