The rotating speed of magnetic separator cylinder will also have a certain impact on the quality of concentrate. The magnetic separator with high rotating speed of cylinder has little effect on the intergrowth and gangue with small magnetism, but has great effect on the separation of ore with high magnetism, so it will affect the quality of concentrate; The speed of the magnetic separator with low cylinder speed is relatively slow. At this time, the magnetic induction will separate the weak magnetic minerals and affect the quality of the concentrate.
2. Magnetic declination angle of magnetic separator
In general, magnetic separators officially produced by the state are equipped with magnetic declination indicating device on the drive shaft head. The magnetic declination angle is adjusted by turning the nut.
If the declination angle of magnetic system is too large or too small, the magnetic separation efficiency of magnetic separator will be affected. If the declination angle is too small, the quality of concentrate will be affected, and the mineral particles with small magnetic system will have a chance to be separated; If the declination angle is too large, only the minerals with large magnetism can be separated, but there is almost no chance for the minerals with small magnetism. Therefore, the quality of concentrate will be improved, but the grade of tailings will be increased, and the recovery rate will be reduced.
Generally, the declination angle of magnetic system is 15 °~ twenty °, The specific deflection angle of each concentrator should be determined according to the operation requirements. After adjustment, if the operation conditions and requirements do not change during production, try not to change.
3. Gap between magnetic separator cylinder and groove bottom
The gap between the cylinder and the tank is one of the factors that affect the magnetic separation efficiency of the magnetic separator. If the gap is too small (that is, the distance between the cylinder and the tank is too close), the slurry will not pass smoothly, which will affect the processing capacity. At the same time, because of the magnetic field strength, the strong and weak magnetic minerals will be separated at the same time, thus reducing the concentrate quality. If the gap is too large, the intensity of separation will be reduced for minerals with weak magnetic system. Although the quality of concentrate is improved, the recovery rate is reduced.
